Not me (thankfully!). Thursday, Crispin woke in the early AM with a fever and coughing. His comment when I told him he wasn't going to school that day?? "( loud groans) It's Pizza Day!" LOL.Poor Guy... almost every time he is sick, it is on a Thursday and he misses out on the week's Hot Lunch Day. He was lethargic and feverish most of Thursday and still woke on Friday with a slight fever. This then turned into a snotty nose and a cough but it was evident (by the increase in activity and fighting) that he was feeling much better. Saturday we noticed that G wasn't quite himself. He woke early Sunday morning with a fever (39.2C/102.5F) and spent most of the day on the couch lying down or sleeping. His fever spiked in the evening and then was low-grade on Monday and today he is completely back to normal. Instead of a cough, he has a nasty runny nose. So the past week has been consumed with laundry (how even just feverish kids mean more laundry I'm not sure!), smoothies, popscicles and youtube. (Sadie....they have Bagpuss episodes on Youtube!) We don't get cable and most of our kids stuff is still on VHS which is downstairs. however, we use the computer as a tv which worked really well for us for both C and G.
this morning, we woke up to the gift of
Snow! It wasn't much....just a skiff on the ground, but it was lovely to walk to school in.Little snapshots of today...
A little baking
A hungry cat (any food for me??)
Fiona watching the granola bars being made....
And playing with Dizzy the Donkey (a *favourite* toy)
That's all from me now.....everyone is ready to wake up!
